Patina is a natural process mainly on leather product that develops a certain mottling effect and colorization over the years through oxidation and product you use to take care of them.

The weathered look of the leather product appeal to a lot of people and it's almost like a statement of your own piece much as every patina process develops different. Much like how a raw denim selvedge develop the fading effect depends on each wearer.

Patina is made famous in France, where the patina artist has developed a certain skill and flair on creating the effect for their customer. Since patina service is offered in France, the trend has been popular worldwide and every patina artist are horning their skill with creativity and artistic flair...

Now there is a chance for you to own a pair of patina shoe, be it in natural crust* or your existing pair**, AQAtelier will strike to create that patina effect that is truly your own definition of style. Simply make the payment, send us your existing shoe picture and the desired picture of the patina shoe you wanted to achieve and we will do the rest. Process depend on complexity and typically takes between 2 - 4 weeks to complete. Do note due to complexity of patina effect, an upcharge of $50-$100 may applies.
